Tara has over 20 years behind the camera, and for her photography has always been about more than the image itself—it’s about capturing the moments that matter. Her work spans grads, portraits, families, children, newborns, and the landscapes of Canada, and over the years she’s come to believe the best photos aren’t the perfectly posed ones. They’re the real ones: the laughter, the quiet in-between moments, the connections worth holding onto.
A mom of two grown children, Tara knows how fast those moments pass. She brings patience, a calm presence, and an easy way of connecting—especially with kids—so sessions feel relaxed and genuine.
Based in Manitoba, she’s drawn to the outdoors and unafraid of the elements, whether it’s golden hour at the lake or a windy prairie evening. Sometimes that’s where the best shots happen. Her focus is simple: to capture your story as it really is—unscripted, natural, and yours.
